I received the news this morning. The first eight weeks of waiting was bad enough. Now it's worse! At least we can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's the shining gleam of our new Camaro's!! Oh baby, yeah mama!

I forgot all about Canada Day.

So, is Canada Day normally a day off for everybody in Canada??? A Canadian National Holiday???

I can't blame them if it is. I cherish my days off!!!

Canada Day is the Canadian equivalent to the 4th. It is a national public holiday.

So, what I don't know, but would like to believe is that the plant figured the day off into their estimate of cars to put into this production week.

IF that assumption were correct, it would mean that most every one set for production this week will be made or at least started, since it does take a little over 2 days start to finish.

According to the Mole they passed 22000 on June 23. If they are making atleast 400 per day (they actually said it is close to 450) then yours would have been made on June 25th.

My car was built on June 9th, shipped on June 10th and showed up at my dealer on June 18th. Waited 1 day to take it home due to bad weather on the 19th. Drove it out of the dealer sat the 20th, straight to a car show in Zion, IL and the next day, along with my 78 to a car show in Milwaukee. I was surprised how fast it showed up after they said it had shipped!
