Wiring T3 port lights

Did an SS conversion and installed T3 ports with the triple led kit inside of them. How should I go about wiring them? I have a non RS 1LT so I have a fog light button if needed.

The fog light button would be perfect I think. If not, and you only want them on at night, just splice into the sidemarkers.

Wire them to the battery and then just run a switch to the cabin, or you could use AAC's four channel remote to make it wireless. Then you could program it to one of your Homelink buttons.

Would wiring them to the fog harness be easier and just use the switch on the headlight controls?

Yes, but you'd also be splitting the voltage between the fog lights and the T3 lights. So they wouldn't be as bright.

I have mine done this way. They are wired into hot wire and then directly to switch plate. This is from emblem pros and by far one of my most used mods. I get in the car turn on my halos, Port Lights and footwells. Its all in close reach and looks like part of the car. Drilling into your dash or leg panel looks off IMO. You can customize the buttons and also have lettering light up from underneath.

I was thinking about doing that too do you just have to flip your headlights on when you need them?

Ther is no loss in voltage in a vehicle as all the wiring is parallel. If you splice the wire to the side marker, both lights get 12 volt.

I'm gunna be ordering a set of these soon, I was wondering if I could wire them to the same set of wires the headlights are on and only have them come on automatically with the sensor?

Sorry if I'm thread jacking just didn't wanna make a very similar thread
