And I understand about the regulations, I realize it won't sound like my '69 Z/28 with chambered exhaust. Again, perhaps it was poor sound quality on the video, ignoring the the volume, I was just not overly impressed with the "note", but I might be in person as that is the real test.

I plan on making aftermarket exhaust my first mod.

And to anyone who doesn't think its loud enough, just get a cut-out w/ a butterfly valve...that should solve any volume deficiencies.

+1. I'm coontempltaing two cutouts just after the cats' since I won't be able to run headers.

I'm glad they are thinking about it. The Ford folks always put a lot of thought into the exahust note of the Mustangs, and frankly, they always sound great.
The best sounding Fbod in my opinion is the LT1. My LS1s always sounded less aggressive compared to those LT1s.

I bot one of the first 2004 GTO's to hit Houston. The sound was perfect. If the new camaro sounds anything close to my GTO, I'll love it. Anything less, I will be very disappointed. I am relying on fboddfathers promise that it will be a world class car. I have to say, however, that CTS coupe on the cover of my last MotorTrend has me wondering if its better to wait a year after the camaro comes out????? GM is coming out with some unbelievable cars, making it really hard to choose....... Way to go GM!

from what i could hear from the spy video on the ring it sounds good. but got to ask. . .would the exhaust note be the bite or the bark? becaue I think the bite would be the ability of the car to perform. the bark. . .the exhaust note and how it sounds. and remember sometimes the dog with the nastiest bites usually is the quietest. . .

That's due, in part to the change in the firing order of cylinders.....

Hey, it already sounds better than 90% of the cars out there. I will probably put a cat back replacement or maybe even headers back. So who cares?
