You may have installed it wrong... I think that the splash guard is supposed to fit between the bumper and the wheel well. Looks like you just installed it on top.

Even if I did it that way the holes still would not line up and it would push my fender out as there is no gap between the quarter panel and inner liner.

That's fair, i just wanted to let you know. I would prefer the pressure from the other two screws to hold the splash guard in place. Cutting it may be necessary.

Did you get yours from RPI? I don't remember the bottom part sticking out like that but will check when I leave work. Mine are from GM parts house.

Do your rear guards have the third hole at the bottom of the flap? I don't see an empty hole in your like on the picture in the post above yours. Is this just the angle of the picture, or ??

Thanks,
Ron

There is a 3rd hole but it is just above the wheel well guard. Since his is installed behind the wheel well it shows.

Yes, this is likely the case. I got mine from RPI, but they are GM parts.

Ivan, when you installed your front "stealth" splash guards, what made you choose to have the textured side face the tire? I installed mine the other way around (there were no instructions included).

Or did you just do it that way because the smooth side was more black and blended with your paint better?

Do you NEED to remove the back tire to put these on?

No. Though it would make it easier, but it's not necessary.

I made my front ones for $10 using a template and a box cutter but the rear ones are harder to make bc of the mounting points so I will be buying rear ones.
The rears in this kit are absolute crap and don't fit properly which is why they started selling the ZL1 rears. And when you call they sound shocked they don't work properly despite everyone who's bought them having the same issues. I will be getting the ZL1 rears eventually from a different vendor that didn't sell me crap in the first place.
