yeah a line lock can keep the car from rolling while doing a burnout, but most cars ive seen on here just seem to be dropping the clutch pedal and grabbing brake and throttle at the same time. Just a good normal burnout.Oh and nice numbers ldg

Like I said, IF the iPhone is accurate. You saw my video. 4 days later I got the app and ran a few times. I'm gonna post a video and timed run with the app at the same time to see what gives.

You tell me. Whitch is more accurate, a video of the speedo, or the iPhone app?

Time will tell.
LOL. I understand that - I was making a joke about 'getting sideways easy and fast' being the fun part of turning trac control off.

Now, we just need to get rid of torque managment and you'll really be getting sideways.

After I got my GTO tuned (no torque managment) it got pretty crazy on the street at times.

I bought the same app last week. Have to calibrate and give it a run. Have not been to the track yet, but my L99 dyno'd at only 305 on a conservative Superflow Chassis Dyno. Hopfully I'll have some results to report soon.
How did you get a screen capture off the iphone and into a image?

As for top speed without the governor, On Saturday at Carlsils several of us were speaking to Al Oppenheiser, and that question came up. Unofficially, the V6 case are near 155 (though governed below that due to tires) and the LS3 M6 cars are getting 175-180. the L99 cars are not much above the 155 from what I heard. I think its mpore to do with programing than performance limitations)

Finally we are getting some REAL numbers... That Iphone app is COOL. I sure hope it's accurate because 4.53 is awesome.
I calculated my 0-60 from the track slip to be 5.1

incase anyone looks at this..... Has anyone looked to see what is done in the 3 different modes? I know with everything on, timing is pulled to reduce breaking traction. When holding the button 7 seconds, timing isn't pulled; at least not as much. Next time I talk to the guy that tuned mine, I will have him check it out in all 3 modes.
