Every time a failure comes up in the LLT section on this forum, they were running full synthetic.

You can run the synthetic oil a lot longer than I have the stomach for (10,000+ miles), so I'm a victim to my own conscience like so many others here I waste my money.
Your stock street driven Camaro has no need for synthetic, but we want it...understood. Desire is a large part of the justification for a need. Love how the LS3/L99 required Mobil 1 in the beginning, then they change to dexos, a synthetic blend. GM saved a ton of money there.

I use Mobil 1 synthetic in all my vehicles. They all take same weight oil 5w30 plus same filter. Camaro L99, Impala SS, 2500 HD Silverado. Camaro sits all winter oil is changed before taking out for summer. 15,000 miles 4 oil changes.
