I’d like to think the slower (in my opinion) was the V6 and the quick was the base v8…Did anyone else notice this?
I thought I remembered someone saying that they didn't see the Brembo brakes on one of the cars at ~1:00 where at ~0:35, you can see them very clearly. So it could be quite possible that there are both a V6 and V8 on the track.

i noticed the rims being different and no brembo brakes at 1:00, but i have a good ear, and this is def a V8...no doubt, however it did seem a bit sluggish for 400+hp...idk? and also im not a fan of the exhaust, but it is stock and it spossed to be quite and restrictive right?

Yes, but we're also probably not hearing the final exhaust note. It's already been hinted that it might be slightly muffled right now to prevent us from IDing the engine.

I think this is the more likely explanation :

Remember this is for tuning the car, mostly the suspension. I'm sure they will get around to tuning the exhaust at some point. Exhaust sound is cosmetic like headlights and tail lights and will be worked on in due time. How it handles is much more important as you can always get a Borla, Flowmaster or any other exhaust after the fact for $500-$1,000 but the suspension is much more costly to fix.

I just watched it with sound... I like it. Sounds mean - and like a proper V8. Dunno if there's much to worry about!

They have a team spending time on how the Camaro is going to sound. I wouldn't worry too much at all about how it sounds on the video.

Go to youtube and pick either your favorite band in concert or maybe a Top Fuel dragster if you've heard one of them in person and then listen to the clip.

It will sound VERY LITTLE like what you heard in person. And that is assuming you have decent audio on your PC.

I'm going to "keep the faith" and reserve judgement until I hear one in person.

I don't personally think there is any way to actually hear a nitro' dragster; you have to feel it

I was just wondering if any of you guys caught the 4-letter profanity scrawled into the track with chalk in 3' tall block letters?
