Normally this happens when you accelerate over 50% throttle when getting up to that speed (freeway on ramp) and the condition does not set for the test to be run.

For example, my LT1 car takes between 10 and 50 miles of driving to clear all not ready errors after a tuning session. It's all about getting the conditions right for the PCM to enter its monitor test available status.

Thanks.. I just got back from a 50 mile run and all are not reset yet.. I hope Ted nailed it on this one.. He did state that I might need to install anti-foul plugs on each rear 02 if the CEL turn on with a code for the 02 sensors. I have never driven on expired tags before and it seems like I notice more cops everytime I go out...I guess that part is my guilty conscience for driving on them...

Well I just logged another 60 miles and status is still the same.
I have over 100 miles on the 3rd tune to try and get all the monitors reset. So far I have logged a total of around 800 miles on 3 different tunes without success. Ted has been great trying to help with this, but man I am getting nervous driving on expired tags.

Misfire Monitor – Ready
Fuel System – Ready
Comprehen Comp – Ready
Catalyst – Not Ready
EVAP System – Not Ready
Oxygen Sensor – Not Ready
HTD 02 Sensor – Ready

Again any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thx,

Ray

The catalyst final reset after another 40 mile run... I now have 130 or so miles with this last tune.. Ted did mention that there is a possibility that it may throw a code for the 02 sensor and if so I will have to use anti-foulers to correct it. If that happens I wonder if I will have to go through all this again if I have to reset the code?

Everything now reads as:

Misfire Monitor – Ready
Fuel System – Ready
Comprehen Comp – Ready
Catalyst – Ready
EVAP System – Not Ready
Oxygen Sensor – Not Ready
HTD 02 Sensor – Ready

Man... next time this happens I will just plan a freaking trip to maybe Texas or somewhere just to get the monitors to read..LOL...This process has been a total pain in the as* to get done.. If this wors I guess I will start next Janurary to be ready by the end of April when my next emissions test is...

Thanks and I do have the Jannetty Tune and he is the one that mentioned that I may need them.. I actually drove from TN to CT in March and they did a lot fo work to my car, but this is the first emissions test that I have been through.. Failed the first one and contacted Ted and he is graciously trying to help me get it resolved. It's just hard for him to do with the car being 1000 miles away... I m getting closer to passing.. If the 02 sensors and the evap system will show ready without a CEl then i will have it tested this week..Like tomorrow..

Thanks for your time.

Another 70 miles clock since last night and the evap and 02 sensors have still not reset. This is getting old quick....I am not sure why this is taken over 250 miles and still everything is not reset.

Well on the way in this morning I got a dreaded CEL for P1133 so I sent Ted an e-mail to see what needs to be done next...

DTC P1133

Circuit Description

The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) activity. Within a 100 second test period, the PCM counts the number of times that the HO2S signal voltage crosses the rich-to-lean-to-rich thresholds. If the PCM determines that the HO2S did not switch enough times, DTC P1133 will be set. A lean-to-rich switch is determined when the HO2S voltage changes from less than 300 mV to more than 600 mV. A rich-to-lean switch is determined when the HO2S voltage changes from more than 600 mV to less than 300 mV.

use hp tuners, and you can get the monitors to read complete/pass.

I am having the same problem with long tubes and green cats. What did you do to fix this issue? I need to pass emissions now.
