I've been shopping for a tire better than the Pirelli P Zero. While I don't autocross, I do like to hop over to the Ozark mountains and run the car hard. Sometimes, like my last trip, I have to worry about wet traction. What I'm finding is there are few selections in the recommended tire size ranges listed for the Camaro. The Invo seems to be one of few with some optional sizes. Is the invo a better performer than the Pirelli's?

i have zero complaints about my INVO's. 275's up front and 315's in the back. i havent been to the track with them yet...so the only thing i know as of yet is that i seem to have an easier time doing burnouts with my p-zeros than i do with my INVO's. soooooo i think they're stickier lol

What size wheels are you running? You don't have any rubbing issues on the front?

Kinda disappointed in my Invos.. I do not think they stick well at all.
I actually think the stock P-zeros had better traction.
I destroy the invos even under a moderate acceleration they just literally go up in smoke if I get on it even at a roll.

I'm interested in knowing this too...How come the Challenger SRT can use 99Y's and it's 300 lbs heavier?

I have been running the INVO'S for the last couple of years and could not be happier with them. I run them on the street and the track and they perform very well.

Here are a couple of videos.

This is Road America in the rain, major understatement, passing Mustangs like they were standing still.

Then there is this one were I chase down a Z06 in a little over a lap at the Autobahn CC.

Both of these show how excellent the INVO's handle in wet and dry conditions. I also like the fact that they speak to me when they get to their limits, they start to squeal. Now, granted, because I track my car my tread wear is a little exaggerated and not typical of folks that just drive on the street but I still, usually, see over 10K of hard miles on them.

I run 275 front and 295 in the rear.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my next
Track fix.

How much rwhp? With 500 they hate it.
Even at lower pressures on warm pavement.

They did auto cross ok though but that was all in first gear and below 50mph
And on straight lines it literally smoked them.

Invos - good daily driver tire (excellent wet and good dry traction).

But - don't get them if you are into like drag racing (street or track). I know lots of guys that have or have had Invos on their cars and they did not like them for drag racing (especially the guys with higher RWHP numbers).
I've personally watched too many races to mention and the cars running Invos "usually" don't do so well. But I'm just talking drag.

Most the guys into drag racing (or pushing high RWHP numbers) switch over to NT05s, NT05Rs or NT555Rs for street/drag duty. These tires offer better dry traction. But they give up a significant amount of wet traction.

But as mentioned, for the average Joe looking for a good all around tire, the Invos work well.

I have 315 on back 35 off set 275 up front 20 off set no rubbing at all . car is not lowered. I think invos are ok for the money but the pzeros are sticker ?
They say invos 315 35 20 run small and fit a 10" wheel better that why I went
with them. Not sure if this is true.
