I was cruising on the autobahn at about 100-105mph on my way to the beach for a good 50 miles or so and maintained a good 18mpg

Id say thats pretty good considering im pushing 500 at the wheels.

Around 65-70mph it still reads 21-22mpg. Im still happy to see im getting decent results, but hey I didnt do all these mods to watch my gas mileage improve!!

Actually I get about the same on the hw in my measly 6 but throw in city driving for about 30% of he time and it drops to about 20.5. Anybody that swears they are getting close to 30 either are blowhards or aren't accurately measuring their mileage. There can't be that much difference from one 6 to another, or one 8 to another."

hmmmmmmm......here we go again.....

There are those of us (V8 or V6) getting good fuel mileage, and there are those of us who aren't and are pissed off at those who do........LOL

Its this kind of crap that never ceases to amaze me.....too funny

I get awesome mileage according to my DIC, and even better mileage when I figure it the old fashioned way with a calculator, I am done posting my results becasue the haters are going to call. I really don't care though, after all it is ME that pays for the fuel that I put into my car. I bought the V6 mainly for the fuel savings, if it didn't save fuel with all the miles that I do (500 a week) then I will have to get rid of it.......hmmmmm ....I still have it after a year and a half! Lets just say it gets better than advertised.
Damn 500 miles a week?! how many miles are on your car? I thought I was bad with about 300 a week I'm already at 45,000 miles!

37000 miles and that is in the 18 months I have had it. I am going to move to Vegas soon and my mileage should drop drastically, probably drastically enough for me to get into an SS.

I just went on a 200+ mile trip, 90% freeway, cruise set at 76MPH, and I got just over 27MPG (calculated, not DIC--though the DIC showed 26-something). Filled up again yesterday, reset everything, and my 70 mile round trip commute (70% freeway/30% city) got me 25-something MPG indicated on the DIC thus far.
I'm starting to consider taking it in...

It's the same for me. I get 22-23 mpg at 70 mph, only way I can get 30 mpg is by going perfectly 55 and I never do that

There's a lot of factors, but to me it seems a little low. I would probably take it in to see if there's anything wrong. According to the DIC, (resetting it for a 200 mile trip) I get around 26-27 mpg cruising around 77mph.
