I, too, happen to believe that the Camaro is the perfect car. Of course, one can always find a vehicle that will go faster, or be cheaper, or will off- road better, or carries more cargo, or will not burn gasoline, or will do X better. The quality is great (yes, the self- abuse addicts will argue with that, too, but I can find you just as many BMW, Saab, and Mercedes owners willing to wail and cry about the build- quality failures of their own cars).

The Camaro is the best bang for the buck, the nicest looking, practical, fun, package deal in town.

A concession needs to made for those that don't know, the ZL1 has a gas guzzler tax and the ford GT500 POS Edition does not, that being stated....

If I spent as much money on my ZL1 as you have to to get the track pack and all that crap (that comes standard on the ZL1) on the GT500, my car would do circles around the GT500 down the quarter mile, literally circles, and still win

If you took the difference between the price of any Camaro, and I'll go with ZL1 because I have one, and the price of the GTR and put that money into the Camaro, the Camaro would literally run circles around the GTR, literally, down any 1/4 mile track or road course and still win.(Didn't meniton the road course on the GT500 POS Edition because the ZL1 can beat a GT500 on any track with twisties with every gear literally, literally, ripped out of the transmission except reverse, yes I just said the Camaro goes faster backwards than the GT500 goes in any direction).

For the ZL1, Chevy put out a warrantied trackable car and made videos showing you how to take your car to the track, turn off the nannies, and launch that ******. And Nissan may have changed this, but when they came out with the GTR if you turned off the traction control or something then you automatically voided your warranty. Chevy says go ahead, here's literally 157 hours of video that shows you how.

Absolutely!! For what you get based on price, looks, performance, gas mileage, etc...I'd say the Camaro is top dog. The Challenger DOES look better, but then again we're still talking about everything. And the Challenger is too heavy, guzzles way too much gas, and is way more expensive. Good point OP!!

Be careful with that statement. The Camaro had a 4 cylinder with a 4 speed manual trans back in the 80s...I owned on, lol!! And we had our share of disappointing engines. The carb'd 5.0 V8 that had the same output as the 2.8 MPFI V6...150 hp, LOL!! The LT-1 as powerful as they were, you never had to work on one of those engines. Not to mention, the Mustang outsold the Camaro AND Firebird/Trans AM. Soo, hust be careful. Our history isn't exactly squeaky clean.

Again, all things considered, I agree. But there are a lot of cooler cars. The Viper, ZR-1, ZL-1, Ford GT, Shelby Cobra...just to name a few. The Camaro SS and Mustang GT are the entry level cars. And the owners make them great because we can modify them until they perform like higher priced cars without spending as much money. And we aren't afraid to do work and void our warranty. So for what it is, the Camaro has great potential!!

Funny that there are people who hate America, but they travel here from all over the world. And there are people who can come here from some other country, section themselves off from every other race and ethnicity in the country, and then live life the exact same way they would have over in their country. WTF is that. But still, as far as "white people...ashamed of being so..." that seems to me to be something that white people do to each other. Usually it seems to be more of a self-mocking or self-derision thing. But I understand what you're saying...it's a shame.

Self abuse and constant criticism is what improves the Camaro. End of the day, a person who is totally in love with the car and can't find anything wrong with it will not help a company improve it. But still, some just complain to complain because they can't be satisfied. I have a feeling that these are the people you're talking about...and I agree.
