Price looks good to me, i mean thats what they are asking, never pay asking price. Car looks good from here. Mileage is a good number. If you like the way the car looks, color and all, then give her a good test drive and bring her home.

Not a wise decision, just my opinion. I just trade it a 2010 2ss all black with orange stripes and inferno interior with 4300 miles on it with all tinted windows and cai induction superchiped. Sunroof. Mint. I mean mint and I got 29500 on trade for a 2013 zl1 that list at 64000 and my payments are close to 800 a month at 2.9 percent. But I was not upside down on my SS I owed 19000. Don't make a mistake you will regret for a long time. I've done this before. Enjoy what you have till you level out money wise on the car you have. It's only a car and you have a nice car now. My opinion that's all good luck. Check out bennettchevy.com. The most honest dealer I've ever dealt with.

I drove my 2LT RS for 3 years then traded it for a brand new 1SS for $10,000 + tax. While I had the 2LT I saved the extra money. People here said I got ripped off, yet they are telling you to go for it....weird.

I would wait until I was a little more straight on the financial situation. You have a great car now and are just reaching too far for a first year SS. Pay down on your LT for a few years and maybe you can start looking when the 6th gens are out.

Patience

I'd say hold off, pay down what you got. You're going to be rolling a lot into a loan on a 3+ year old car...

I'd keep the LT and pay down on the loan until you get decent equity for a new SS. $590/mo is pretty steep for a 2010 IMO.

It's a nice clean car, if you want it get it. There's always deals out there but they might not always fit your situation. If this deal works for you and you're comfortable with it go for it.

Not bad! I picked up a 2010 2SS last week for $25.6 with 10K on the clock so you are in the ball park.

Don't do it! If you're upside down in your current car, you're going to be upside in this SS too because they'll tack that extra money onto the price of this new one. Just pay down your V6 and wait a while. Why would you buy a V6 and then want to upgrade in ONLY 10 months? To me, it seems as if you should have just bought the SS in the first place. You do NOT want to be buried in car debt!

Absolutely don't do it. You are already upside down and then trading for a more expensive car that is also older and more likely to need repairs makes no sense.

I understand the want of a SS, but there is no need, especially if you can't afford it!

Reading all these posts and I know the majority ones are not what you want to hear. But keep in mind thisIis coming from people that have been there done that. From people that have actually spent and bought high dollar cars..... yeah sucks to be patient but thats good honest advice. Now if you want to look at it as f it im gonna be paying might as well pay for something im gonna really enjoy then you can do that as well. Have you ever thought about saving money then selling your current vehicle and paying off that loan then starting fresh? Might take longer but at least your payment wont be so high. Paying off your current loan will improve credit score therefore giving you a even better rate. Lowering monthly payments allowing you to save more money for those upgrades you know your gonna do..... my two cents.

I would wait also, and the 2010 you looked at would have been red jewel not crystal red as the color was not available in 2010...and I would get a manual not the automatic.............Want and time will help pay your car down and a newer car become used with a nice option like HUD...............

Seems like a good deal on the SS, but you are too far upside down to even consider that trade...$5,500 in rolled over negative equity is asking for trouble.

580 a month is a little deceiving unless you also provide the term limit and interest. Nevertheless, 580 a month is used C5 vette money. I'd pass.
