I remember I just don't find any of those (except 1st Gen) particularly attractive either.

Same here, all the past gens look lame to me. I do not like the '14s but think the bigger wing/spoiler and hood vent are really lame and will look boy racer on the SS.

I think the license plate "cavern" where the two materials come together will tame down a bit when there is a plate in it. that being said, I prefer what I have.

Personally, I love the new redesign. As a current non-owner I would seriously consider it as a potential buy if I were in the market for a new pony car right now. I know this is GM's goal and I feel they did it correctly for attracting new owners.

I feel the 10-13 design is a bit "long in the tooth" to be selling new as I've been accustomed to it since Scott Settlemire was showing the original BumbleBee car at local Pittsburgh car shows back in 2007.

I don't like them as much as the earlier Gen5s, but I don't understand all the flat-out hate for them.

Did you not see my post? The taillights are straight from the styling cues of all the past generations..

some of these guys just don't get it.all they can see is import...even though the design has been around since the late 60's....all they can see is that GM doesn't have an original thought in the collective brain trust.some people just DON'T want to see the heritage in the new tail lights.

me...i think GM hit the nail on the head with a 1 ton sledgehammer.i like the original gen 5 tail lamps, but the new ones are just better.

I love the back end on the new 2014.
Because of it I speed up my purchase of my new Camaro and got the 2013 model to avoid it

Oh, for sure I saw it...and I agree completely...my point was more folks seem to be familiar with the Honda Prelude and how it's designed, than in knowing the heritage and history of the designs from Chevy...(Maybe I wasn't clear, but I was agreeing with you...lol)...

For some unknown reason I think it's sad that some feel Chevy and Camaro are copying Honda and imports, instead of realizing that Chevy is entitled to use it's own styling cues from the past, regardless of what co-incidental look the imports may have come up with in the meantime...

All 5th gen Camaros look freakishly tall from the back. You can see Chevy was trying to minimize that effect.

I like the new taillights. But in reality are taillights such a big deal?
