Dunno how you made your decision to begin with, but I just did not feel a lot of difference between the 2LT and the SS. You'll lose thousands at this point.

If I had that regret, which I don't, I'd get a ZL1 to really feel the difference.

Two weeks ? You're going to get hosed . Plus,I'm sure the 1LE rides like a truck on thise fine Michican roads. Plus, you probably will need another car for winter use.

I definitely would not do any mods on the V6 if you think you might not keep it. No point in sinking more money into a car that you're not happy (or might never be happy) with. Good luck!
I have no remorse with my decision of getting a V6 and like I mentioned in my previous post and I quote it again "I won't be driving with any regrets even if I end up keeping the V6" and "I would be more then happy to keep my V6 (with or without major mods: I absolutely LOVE IT!!!)" It was just a thought that I had while browsing through the bolt-ons section for V6, that why would I want to dump so much money just to get to the power of V8 and in the process lose the warranty while I could have had a V8.

Why not just sell your V6 privately and then get a used V8?
I would rather try to find out what would be the difference. If its huge keep my V6, if not bump up to V8.

How many miles did you have on it that you only lost 1k on trade in from what you had paid initially?

Stay away from V6 camry lol somebody posted something about them
Yea that is what I was thinking, that if it does not work out for me right now I will just keep my V6 and keep it stock with a catch can on and hopefully later get in on a ZL1/C7 or wait till I can get more info on 6th Gen's.

Like I had mentioned in my previous post that it is not set in stone, as mentioned before this is just a thought that I had. But again I am perfectly fine and happy keeping my V6 if it don't seem to work out.

I hear ya. In the end, you have to do what makes you happy...without breaking the bank.

I have decided, I am sticking with my V6 and am looking forward on enjoying it.

I am glad in one way that the V8 itch has gone, was more like V8 flu, I just had to sleep through it.

Yea but FI should be able to give them enough reason to deny it. :P

How many miles did u have on your V6 when you traded it in and how long did you keep it and what model years was the V6 and the V8 that you got?

2011 v6 1lt 9k miles
2010 ss 20k miles

this is hogwash, the difference performance wise between v6 - v8 is night and day. The torque is what you feel and man do you feel it. You may have gotten one with low octane gas if you test drove it otherwise i dont know what to say.

When i had my wife in the car and floored the v6 from a stand still she was left unimpressed saying "Is that it?" The v6 is just lacking that torque. From a roll its great. But when I got the V8 and floored it she was screaming bloody mary

You are right, in the long run, it would have been cheaper and easier to get the V8, especially if you want to put down a lot of power, obviously its a better platform.

BUT, I wouldnt trade in right now. You might as well use the v6 for a while, seeing as how (just for example), if you trade it in now, you lose 3 grand. But if you trade it in in 6 months or a year, you may only lose 4 grand.

So, you might as well get some wear, mileage, etc out of the money you are losing on the trade. And you can shop for an SS later.
