Most manufacturers have low rates advertised on certain occassions. Nissan was offering 1.9 when my wife purchased her vehicle.

The money is out there and the dealer should havee access to it. My loan was through US Bank at my dealer for 1.89% on 60 months. You just have to know that it is available when you go into the finance office, because the interest rate is negotiable if you have good credit. It's not in the best financial interest of the finance guy to give you the best deal up front, so you have to stand your ground. From reading on this forum about the low rates that were out there I was argue them down.

Just decide on a comfortable monthly payment and work backwards. This is the smartest way IMO.

Taxed at the pump by the less than stellar mileage. The Guzzler Tax And the total Sales tax which includes tax on the gas guzzler tax. Total BS. The one nice point on my purchase last week is that the GM card allowed $1500 to go towards my ZL1. First I have ever seen anything more than a $1000 allowance towards any Camaro. $500 more of my money I get to keep. ![]() Oh yeah, drove my Camaro off the lot owing 40K on a 60 month note at 1.9% = $700 monthly payments. |

With that much down you will have a buy rate of 1.25 with chase or BOA on 60-66 months and 1.89 on 72 months. I do this every day lol.

Paying $1,253 per month 60 months. Zero down, car loaded with all options available including dealer installed options + guzzler of 2,600.
Here in CA it's not even close to a mortgage payment. |
