I'd rather see it machine silver...with Blue lettering, or Green lettering.

The idea of a green background is a little overpowering, if you ask me...

But I do like the idea of a revamped image, very much.
They've made the changes that it represents.

yeah... thats what i mean. the logo design process / research / revisions / client crap... it could be HUNDREDS of things. one thing i do know from doing it for a long time.. is that the average person confuses easily and then moves on... competing colors, etc... does that.

Wasn't the original GM color a sort of teal anyways? I seem to remember that color on seat belt logos and parts boxes.

as of 2004, its seems like its PANTONE 286, very upbeat blue.

They say colors mean things to the subconscious. Blue supposedly invokes a feeling of assurance, and confidence. Being that there's not a lot of that anymore, unfortunately, a new direction, might be warranted. I'd rather see a silver, or chrome "badass" color, rather than green, though...

spot-on, my friend!!! but to do that in the new style of logo identity, and not look aged... its gotta be more "solid"... and depicting that with solids.. is grey... HOWEVER... grey and orange... BADASS. check out the new updated CHEVY site and of course, the camaro area. well-done. reserved and stylish and CURRENT but NOT alienating. and ... rugged in a refined way. class-A simple design!!!!
