I haven't had the pleasure of riding in it, so I can't say how loud it is inside, but I did learn where not to be at WOT :-)
Thanks Dale! when are you gonna hit some mods on your ZL-1

Parafrrog,

I have to get a few miles on it first and then decide what I want to do to it. While I do love the ZL1 and have no plans on replacing it, I have been distracted, trying to figure out how I could get a new Stingray. I was late to get on the list of people who want them at the dealer. They are a bit low for the wife to get in and out of, but are so awesome, that having one for at least a few years would be great.

Good luck with that.
For me there is nothing but the ZL-1. I have tried the Porsches ZO6 and AMG and still no buyers remorse for me! CYA around buddy!

Nice build... I went to Matt and Rick at Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix. Best cars guys you ever want to meet. I bought and installed Dyna tech long tubes w/cats and returned to have my roto fab CAI and tune done. Oh I added Taylor wires. The intake was a demo model and got a great deal on it. Results? 597 RWHP... THAT IS ALSO 700 HP The dyno was at North Vally in Phoenix. Mustang type. All the best people in the Performance market I've meet.

I was thinking of adding an aluminum Dewitt's radiator to the build. I know it will look great just not sure about the added value. Will it make it run cooler?????

Hey Sportyb. Tell me about your build, what kind of RWHP do you have. Is your paint a rap or paint, looks pretty sweet!

I've got

- 2.55 inch diameter steel supercharger drive pulley - powder coated black - 8 rib
- 8 rib serpentine belt
- Lingenfelter LS9 solid supercharger isolator coupling
- Port and polish supercharger snout
- Custom Cold Air Intake (ROTO-FAB)
- FAST Fuel Injector Upgrade
- Stainless Steel Long Tube Headers (Stainless Works)
- Hi Flow Center Section w. Cats
- 160 degree thermostat
BOOST IS AT 11.7 at the time

Take in consideration it was 100 plus degrees in the shop when it was dynoed at the time but it put 586rwhp and 553rwt !! Tuner said I should pick up a bit more if it wasn't so hot..

And the car was wrapped by 360 wraps in Dallas Texas and engine work was done by 21th century muscle cars in Dallas Texas as well !!
