Have the same response - JAIL TODAY - had a kind of different situation toady - i live in a small town - they are having a festival this weekend -games , crafts , all that stuff , AND A CAR SHOW - so i bring the black 2 SS/RS over and drive in and go down near a 70 Chevelle SS back up next to it and this guy with a glow in the dark shirt comes over and tells me " You cant park that in the show " I was like WHAT ! no cars in here unless they are 25 years old --- OK WTF , my buddy is like didn't he see everyone staring at your car - so i told him that i would never bring any of my cars to this show ever again - THE ONLY REASON I BROUGHT THE CAMARO IS FOR KIDS TO LOOK AT IT , CAR SHOWS ARE ONE REASON THAT I HAVE CARS TODAY , I FELL IN LOVE WITH HOT RODS 30 YEARS AGO - SO THAT ASSHOLE WITH THE GLOWINTHE DARK SHIRT - YOU JUST MADE SOME BOY GO AND LOOK AT FARM ANIMALS INSTEAD OF A CAR - THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!

Last night, I take my wife and two daughters out for an evening cruise. We stop at a "Cold Stone Creamery" to get some ice cream. I park very far away. Nobody withing fifteen parking stalls. Sure as shit, we come out and some asshole in a big ass suburban is parked right next to me. Luckly no door dings but come on. I think people do it on purpose just because they suck!!!!

I hate these people who have absolutely no respect for any car next to them let alone a brand new Camaro. I drive a 93' Chevy and it has had its share of people whacking their doors into my door (thank God its made of 93' steel (good stuff)) but still it shows. I show every car that I park next to my utmost attention to not hit my door on their car even if it is a beater. Just have resspect people for other peoples property. Rant done...

Dermo....hopefully you will get your Camaro fixed soon and right and have those two idiots pay for what they did to your car...

Some people don't respect anything. The other day I was at Wal-Mart and this woman goes down the wrong way. I am in my Silverado 2500, I block her, she didn't back up to go the right way. I think people needs to get a brain.

Wal-Mart idiots that dont know anything about driving...I have had several of those instinces...And since im bigger in my truck I dont budge. Go ahead and try...I dare them...

This of course is in all fun but the fact being is that someone has to make a stand. Ill do it in these types of situations

That is so typical its like people are jealous of your car and will do things just to be jerks. I see it all the time even with my current auto. I take really good car of my cars I even get rock chips filled in and any dings fixed professionally at least once a year. So I pick this one company called Roses paint and body shop in Utah they are really good. In Utah there is always big rigs, dump trucks, big 4x4's with big ol tires and no splash guards. I just hope I dont get a door ding for at least a month or more lol.. Sorry to hear about it..

Hell, you can't even park in the very last spot in a parking lot without a dickhead parking right next to you. And you know why they do it? Just to be a dickhead.

To the OP: I'm surprised the guy that dinged your Camaro (the guy you actually spoke with) didn't say something like; "Hey, if you didn't want it damaged, then you shouldn't have driven it here". That's the mentality of people today.

I NEVER drive my nice cars to work or malls or stores or ANY large parking lots. Just not worth it.

The "space thing" happens even if you're sitting anywhere, such as a movie theater, restaurant, etc, and there are about a million other seats available and someone has to sit RIGHT NEXT TO YOU!!!...why do people do that???...
They are probably the same people that park RIGHT NEXT TO YOU when there a million other parking spots around!!!...

I see nothing wrong with that, and I own a Black 2SS/RS as well.

There's a local car show every week by where I live and I don't take the car over. It's like a club that they earned the right to be in by keeping their cars in great condition for so long. Let them have their glory and don't steal their thunder because you walked in to a dealer and bought a new car. Your car might be better than most there but they've earned the right to show it off.

OMG I would have drug her off by her hair and beat the piss outta her. That rubs my butt raw just thinking of someone crawling up on the hood of my car and having their picture taken. Now I am gonna go beat my little 7 year old boys ass so he doesn't do that when he gets older. Just kidding, he is a very good boy. We raise him the right way with discipline so i'm not worried.

I'm really sorry about the door dings, people just don't have any respect these days. I live beside a church and heard banging the other night around 11:00 pm, looked out the window and these two stupid kids about 13 were throwing rocks at the church trying to see which one could put the biggest dint in the medal siding they just had put on. When I went out and yelled at them to stop one of them called me an unpleasant name as they were running. I recognized one of them and ran into his parents the next day at the library on the computer and when I spoke to them about it they said no it couldn't have been him he was at a friends house, besides he is a good boy. I said I know it was him and his little friend was with him. They looked at me and said prove it. Ahh My husband is an IT Manager at the Federal Prison here but was a Lt. before he got that position and they know this. I said that's okay I'm not worried about it because my husband looks at inmates everyday and your son has potential to be one so both of you should be proud.

Sorry this thread was so long just don't understand what is wrong with some people these days.
