My god man how many places are you going to post this. LOL
Rounding everything out for a 10:1 solution go 3 oz of APC to 29 oz of water. |

just do what tecca said, 3 oz APC to 29 oz water is fine. If you want to be real technical, 3 oz APC to 30 oz water is the proper dilution, but you won't see any difference with an extra ounce of water. Also 33 oz won't fit in a 32 oz bottle which is why I'm assuming Tecca said 3 to 29.
I was just making a joke since 1 x 3 = 3, but 10 x 3 doesn't equal 29

Well lets get technical then
The Formula: x / y = z Where x = Total amount of product, in ounces, desired in the end. Where y = Total number of parts for dilution. In a 10:1 dilution, this would be? 11. Where z = Amount of liquid, in ounces, required per part. So lets take the first one with 32oz at 10:1 32/11 = 2.9 That is where you come up with 3 because who is going to measure out 2.0oz. 11 not 10.
in a 1/10 dilution, total parts equals 10. Having the colon means parts of one ingredient to parts of other ingredient, not parts of one ingredient to parts of entire mix. Again, I was just making a joke, it's really not a huge deal and makes no difference in this situation for the op.

It's all good but always I always went by For every dilution there are a total number of "parts". Let's say that you want a 5:1 dilution - that means there are 6 parts (the 5 parts and the 1 part = 6 parts). 10:1 = 11 parts. Etc. ![]() Quote:
