Pulled over in a Camaro?

Memorial day weekend on I-75 in Ohio, it was bs, we resisted and he let us go. I think we just stuck out like a sore thumb in the orange Camaro.

I got pulled over July 2009 the first week I bought my 2LT, never since then and I'm on my second IOM Camaro.

I voted in your poll for IOM but the cop wrote 'red' for the car color on the ticket. It was dark, I dunno maybe he was color blind or something.

only been pulled over once and it was for my tint... so i dont think i can blame it on my car being white. Got a verbal warning about it!

IBM, 72 in a 55. Insurance card expired a week before I got pulled over(which is weird because my policy goes through August :-/). But I got luckier then hell, while I was looking for my insurance card he took my license and registration to his car and he came running back and told me it was my lucky day and he had a more important call to go to so slow down.

I didn't put mine in the poll because I didn't exactly get pulled over. Did a touch of a tire squeal pulling on to the highway with a deputy on 2 wheels was 1 block up. So he went where I had my turn signal for and once I turned he was waiting for me. So I pulled up next to him and asked if he was waiting for me. He said yep. No ticket though.

But mine is black, and other than that I really don't speed, so no reason to get pulled over.

I once started a similar thread on a cop forum. It was titled "who do you pull over, and why do you pick them?"

Everyone had their own reasons for why they pick who they pick when there are multiple choices. It's un-luck of the draw. Besides performance cars it also seems like they enjoy picking on poor people with the crappiest cars on the road, and anyone who has a vehicle that portrays a youthful driver, or a criminal type driver....profiling, discrimination YES, but they are human. Guess the odds are better with these groups.

Poll is worthless, but it's something to look at anyway. I've been pulled over in all types/colors of vehicles. It is because I break the law. If you never break the law you won't get tickets.

Must be a Wisconsin thing. I was pulled over for no front plate too. I was given one week to get it on.

Almost pulled over for to much fun in a roundabout. I was pushing it pretty hard and came out kind of crossed up. The cop was coming the other way and tripped his lights just long enough to make me aware but did not stop me.

Sorry went back and looked, it was actually 124 MPH. I got a huge ticket but I didn't go to jail so I guess that counts for something. Car cut fuel at 150 and scared the hell out of me so I was slowing her down. Damn speed limiter. On the bright side I found out that the HUD registers all the way to the speed limiter. The price you pay to test your equipment, pun intended.

Second week I had my car I got stopped for 50 in a 35. My wife was with me and she was livid (with me of course). She was all like "I knew it! I knew if I got you a sportscar you would get a ticket!"

Anyways, I thought the speed limit was 45 and the officer could tell I was genuinely shocked when he told me it was 35. He let me off with a warning. Very thankful for that - I would never heard the end of it otherwise.
