It's the TC button.
Put it into competitive mode (press TC twice).
Press the clutch
Floor the gas pedal. The car should limit the revs.
Drop clutch (or release quickly).
Hold on.

I haven't tried it but that should be how it goes. Here's Embalmer's story on it.. This stickied thread also discusses it.

Apparently it breaks your output shaft. but it is supposed to allow you to put the pedal to the floor at a certain rpm and launch.

Because the tr6060 tranny in the vette is not the same tr6060 tranny in the camaro, nor the gt500 Chevy skimped on the tranny in the camaro, there are sub models of the tr6060 the camaro has the lowest one.

What is your source on this TR6060 being a "lower" version? Please don't say wikipedia either.

Both the standard Corvette and the high-performance Z06 use the TR6060 designated as MM6, which is validated to 500 lb-ft of torque, while the TR6060 with the Z51 option features higher ratios and is designated as MZ6. It is validated to 430 lb-ft of torque.

The Camaro uses theM10 gearset validate to 430lb-ft of torque.
guess which one you have...

That doesnt mean the transmission in the camaro is any lower than the one used in the z06 or the cts or the gt500. All it says is M10 gearset (different ratio) is validated to 430ft-lbs. If your car only has 420ft-lbs why do you need to validate the transmission any higher. it passed the test no need to keep testing to higher levels. it mentions nothing about 430 ft-lbs as the limit.

The tailshafts are breaking because of a flaw in the hardening process on those certain parts, not a flaw in the design. The design is fine, the parts were just not hardened correctly. It happens quite often in the manufacturing world.
