Blind spot mirrors are invaluable. I will not own a car without them.

There are times you want to see down the side of your car, such as when you are backing into tight spaces.

I live and drive in Los Angeles and have for 25 years.. I have no need for blind spot mirrors, my mirrors are adjusted correctly and regardless of whether the top is up or down, I do not have an issue with not knowing if someone is parallel to me on the corner of the vehicle.

Furthermore, your mirrors are power, so if you need to move them to parallel park or back into a spot, move them so you can do what you need to then move them back.. it's not rocket science.

you guys with the hard tops think your blind spot is bad, drive the convertible with the top up, and that tiny useless rear window.

bottom line is you use what is best and most comfortable for you, if stick on mirrors work for you, yippie for you.. I personally don't see the need.

and as for the comment about driving longer than some have been alive, no offense, but that doesn't mean you are good driver, in fact it probably means you are worse than most because you have become complacent to the laws and don't care.

I drive within the "text" I keep my 3 second buffer regardless of traffic conditions (heavy or light) and if someone fills the gap, I take my foot off the gas and create the gap again, and I watch as I pass the same idiots over and over in my 15 mile trek to work, and we all get off at the same ramp, having never exceeded the speed limit or changed lanes, all the while they are jockeying for position and up and down in speed and in and out of lanes.
