Usually they allow (tolerate) burnout under the bridge, not so much this year?

I don't know what the deal was. There was a wreck on douglas right before the burnouts were supposed to get going. I think the cops shut it down because of that. I'm gonna ask our wpd buddy what the deal was on thursday. Too bad! I was really looking forward to that.

Honestly I think that is one of the most dead weekends this summer... Usually there are 2 events every weekend. I too was hoping something was going on the weekend of the 27th.

Only thing I know of that is going on that weekend is some of the club are going to Stillwater to meet up with the OKCamaros club at Eskimo Joe's. Sounds like a fun road trip, but I'm probably not going to make the trip. Getting some things done to the car that don't need to be going on a road trip right away.

Its still a go for 6pm tomorrow, I think its more of a cruise-in style thing rather than a judged show, but they are still taking donations. I know of about 6-8 people from CCKC thet plan to go. Come on out, it will be fun.

Lead sled show in Salina, 26th-28th. Around 1600(yes, that is a four digit number) expected. Can't show unless your ride is 1969 or older though.

It's a great show to see.

Went to Sturgis instead (more my style)

I opted out this year. Instead I went to Sturgis with the Wichita group and will be going to the MidWest Camaro Fest in place of Camaro5
