I do have a close friend in Canada; let’s just say he has deep ties in GM Corporate Canada... I told him about what is going on. I too have a L99 that has the same problem as all of yours does in the Deep South. Humidity as been high here and the car won’t get out of its own way if you nail it from a dead start. My 0-60 runs have been in the low 6 second range as well. I have a bunch of soot built up in the end of the tail pipes and when you start it in the morning it drips black crap all over the garage floor. You would think as sophisticated as fuel injection is these days it could keep the car in the proper A/F ratio no mater what the temp or humidity is.
Anyway, his thinking is the torque management is pulling down too far and the A/F ratios are a victim of this. He would let me know what he can find out.

Another thing to try is top level fuel or cut some race fuel into your regular fill up. The indicator of poor fuel quality will be the fuel trim will try to add fuel counts during part throttle Exhaust Gas Recirculation events. Lastly, monitor your front tires for accelerated wear as there has been complaints of steering twitchiness caused by too much toe in. Worth 2 tenths on the quarter. Also check brake pedal stoplight switch adjustment for dragging the front brakes. They seem OK cold but as the brakes heat up the car goes slower. irpq, sell that thing and get you an LS3. I guarantee you will leave your wife far off in the rear view mirror. Plus, the M6 is much more fun to drive.
