Why didn't Motor Trend run a 2010 GT against the M3 either?
You might want to learn your mustang year models before you brag on them... 2010 GT is the 4.6 still

Im not suggesting the '10 was faster than the '10 SS, just that perhaps it handled better. And certainly the '10 GT500 did.

and we all know being faster and putting up faster lap times doesn't mean it handles better or is a better track car.

my point was that as crappy as Mustangs handle, they did quite well against the Camaro when it came out with an IRS. But, as others have said elsewhere, thats not saying that much.

Are you honestly that dense? The 1LE is nothing but a "track pack" unlike the boss, zl1, gt500. It is not a different model than the original. And the 1LE puts up faster lap times than the gt500 and the boss 302 Laguna seca. Which are fords pride. And that is stock ls3 with a "track pack".

It's an external contract. Which doesn't exist anymore. Because its anAFTERMARKET company. Once could get "factory" SLP camaros. So your saying that I can include SLP as a regular camaro? Same concept with JCW minis. It's still an aftermarket shop calling the shots on the cars

Effectively boss 302 LS is Fords personal " top car" come next year there will be no dealer sold gt500 as the AFTERMARKET shop Shelby. Had pulled its contract. Yet there will still be zl1/z28.

The gt500 is made by Ford. Shelby does not do anything to the gt500 what so ever. And just to clarify 2 things: the zl1 was ran on a dry track, the gt500 was ran on a damn track a few days later. The boss 302 was ran the year prior, so none of those times can be compared to each other.

All this mag testing boasting going on in here. As mentioned earlier unless the testing was same day same time it's not valid imo. These 1LE guys pumping their chest need to get out there and actually race their cars. You might get a rude awakening by that 5.0, Boss, or 500 you so freely dismiss.

I've drivin in and head to head against all three. Except I haven't personally drivin a newer gt500. I almost bought a 09 gt500 but got my 02 SLP instead. No one said there not "good cars" just not the same
