Ok, after reading those posts, I have a dumb question....
Does it make more sense to install the MSD 'BAP' or the ZL1 fuel pump? Both install and overall cost is what I'm asking. Even after I pulley down to 3.6 and get my CAI for the Maggie, I'll still only be pushing around 500 rwhp. Thoughts. |

ZL1 fuel pump with ADM FPCM is a better choice. Because the fuel pump will detect the fuel pressure drop and reacts to it. But BAP will react to the boost readings which may not means fuel pressure drop. Also BAP has a limited room to increase the fuel pressure.

Yes. You have to drop the fuel tank to replace the fuel pump. I don't know how much it will cost you where you live. But where I live it cost me about $400. you can search the forum for how to replace the fuel pump.

Dont HAVE to drop the fuel tank to put a pump in. You can cut a hole in the floor under the rear seat and make an access door which isnt that big of a deal like some people make it out to be.

synergy I think you will be making more than 500rwhp with the pulley and intake maybe 500 on a mustang dyno but I think you might even get up over that on the mustang dyno on a dynojet I but you would 550ish or better

Don't do it. Find a friend with a car lift. That makes it lots easier.
