Did you take the lights out to install the film or just push it under the body edges?

Tail lights out, easier to work on that way.

I left them in and used a rubber spatula to slide the edges under. You really just need to take the bezels out, which he's already done. Might look weird without bezels axis. There will probably be leakage.

Yup that's what was not available when I did my rear. It supposed to be a good route to go. A lot less money too.

I think there's a harness you can buy. diy5thgen or 5thgendiy... I thought they had something for that.
