Now do me a favor. Go find a empty stretch of road. Put the car in M/Sport mode. Turn off traction control. Take foot of brake and smash the gas. Report back please of what happened.

Yeah just turn off traction control and do it. Do not paddle shift.

u and this burnout issue?????

i'm not sure about the auto, but with the manual i have to hold the traction control button down for like 7-8 seconds. that shuts down the traction control and stabilitrac (no, this isn't competition mode). i got a 300ft smokeshow going the other day on my 1st and only attempt to lite em up. i had to let of as the rear end began coming around on me.......who knows how long she woulda went!

try that with ur auto. u may still need to start out on the brake, but once they break loose u should see big smoke....

shoot me a pm and let me know if that worked for ya.

You need to get your car fixed...Quickly!

I have an employee who wanted to see what his scion turbo? would do against the Camaro. I have put him off until I broke it in. Well, we did five short runs down the highway starting from 30mph each time. I stayed with him off the jump using the paddles, then blew by him once I shifted out of second. I red lined the tach two times, the first time it stalled my progress and he passed me, then I ran him down.

I do not do this often. Going to the track Friday night to check it out. I was going to dyno, then I figured the track is cheaper at 15 dollars. If it does well, I will not need to spend the 120 to get the dyno done. We will see Friday night.

120.00?
My guy only charged 60 bucks. Hope he was legit.

I wish we had a quarter mile track. Only 1/8th mile. :(
