So wait... to participate in the ride and drive you have to pay the 100 to register and have a valid DL? Or just have a valid DL? I'm not sure if i'm reading your reply quite right...

You don't have to pay as a Racer to get in on the ride and drive. Anyone, spectator or racer can go participate in the ride and drive if you have a DL and pass the brethalyzer.

That would be Mark Steilow is a custom pro-touring car builder, race car driver and GM engineer. Mark was the lead engineer of the ZL1 overseen by the Chief Engineer Big Al O. Here is a video about Mark, the ZL1 and Red Devil.

If you want to know what your 5th Gen can do on the CamaroCross grab Mark and ask him to ride as an instructor or drive while you observe. Mark is a Car Guy of Car Guys.

The CamaroCross Tech Crew will make sure all the Chevrolet display vehicles are teched, numbered and ready to go for a midnight drive / test session. Al O' and Mark Stielow are organizing this activity as they perfected it during development of the Z/28

Well it is was a very big let down when I got there this morning to drive the 1LE and was denied since I'm not 21. I was really looking forward to this.

I thought all you needed was a valid drivers license and pass the breathalyzer test?
Or were the rules different for the 1LE?
