You are correct - there are similarities. I just wish they were a little closer. You're also right that we just can't make too many judgments based on pictures alone. Lens angles, lighting, there are so many things impacting the pictures. I think the closet would be the shots from Corey. My wife really likes that car!
I was trying to be funny or sarcastic (I fail at both). Although I just sunk 3-grand into my truck, I still have some set aside. Yes, that Camaro is nuts to drive. 4,000 stall, wheels-up on every launch. 1.49 60-foots. 10-point cage all custom-built. Engine was built for Nitrous, though I bought all the parts and never put it in (anyone need $1,000 worth of Nitrous stuff?). Chrome-moly tubular K frame, subframe connectors, a-arms, QA-1 adjustable shocks an springs, Airlift air springs, forged aluminum panhard bar, engine built by ARE. The list just goes on for over $20,000 worth of work in addition to the purchase price! But, things change. The SS was sacrificed for my next toy. Will that be a new Camaro? Stay tuned! |

I'll be 30 at the end of Dec. so hopefully I'll be able to put in an order for a Z/28 near my birthday. I plan to start with the base V8 and keep it for 2-3 years. Then try to find a low mile top of the line SS on a lot and trade in the Z/28 for it.

I'm 32, planning to buy myself a graduation present that makes my future students cry. I'll wait a year after release, though. Base V8 for me, convertible. As for the job to pay for it, I'm a professor-to-be and an instructional technology consultant.
I inherited my Mom's 81 when I was 18. Ahhh, love. I haven't been the same since I lost her. It's about time I become whole again. - DD |

I 'll be mid 32 when the car is released in the US.
I am a Management & Information Systems (aka Pc-dood) assistant manager for Casino Loutraki in Greece, now starting a 2nd job too in my home town (paintball field & RC Car racing course), I get some nice income from a bank savings account, plus my wife works too at her own hair saloon. Recently married and even more recenlty a dad with a gorgeous looking daughter \o/ My father was one of the few ppl in Greece to get a big bad ass Pontiac back in the 80s, when I was still a kid (it was a huge green sport coupe, and from some wiki-searching it was either a 2nd Gen. Tempest or a Custom S - can't find profile pics for those cars). That frigin' movie, Tranformers, started it all, it was like "deja-vu". I 'll do everything in my power to get the new Camaro now. The car is gonna be available in Europe too, and I certainly hope we won't just get the smallest engine (if that even makes it to production). For me, it 's all Bumblebee looks - my current car is yellow too. As for the engine, the bigger the better, as long as it sort-of-matches the US price and doesn't require a gas stop every 2-3 days lol. So far it seems Chevy prices in Greece "matches" those of the US in "exact numbers" only, not in currency (ie the like the $15K = EURO15K formula). It 's expensivier, but not that much. Wife will biatch about it for sure, but I bet if I take her to see it at a dealer and she gets in she will go along She loves its pics and videos as it is now.I so much hope I manage to get it... |

22 on the 18th of this month. I'm more than likely going to wait and buy one a few months after they come out, just to make sure everything checks out.

either get rid of my truck and get the camaro then i would have to sell my rust free highly modified 80Z then buy a winter beater.
Nah i love my Silverado too much to get rid of it for a car i can only/would only drive for 6 months of the year and still make monthly payments on it and full insurance while it sits in my garage. I do love the car though! |

i think your on the right path there. Seeing them for 8 hours a day, 5 to 6 days a week all year. Then dealing with the problems with them on the line can be a PITA. It wears off on you. Not saying i wont be taking one home here and there. Having immediate family high up on the GM food chain has it's perks and i already have my name in several times for the nightrider program.
Maybe i will wait till my lease is up with my truck and decide, maybe i will pick up a hemi challanger as i have always wanted one, i really dont know. or maybe i will wait 2 years to get one
