Oh no... I don't think I misunderstood you. I was just saying that since I haven't ever done it before, I don't feel the need to get a better grip so I can launch closer to the power band... yet! ...therefor saving wine and money! I'm sure I'll change my tune as soon as I start trying to get better times.

AI has finally shipped my cooler. I hope it's hot in Texas next May. That may be the first time I'll actually be able to see the benefits of this thing. Weird summer , no heat in August at all and none coming. Should of bought my rims instead.

Mr. G a cooler is a better mod than some damn rims lol, now if they were some ZL1 rims I'd be happier lol.

We're all gonna need either Dr's or slicks for May!!!

Finally Garisson! You never know with this weather. The one day you go to race it'll be hot as shit! Then low 70's the next day. I bet that's one of your favorite additions come next summer. I'll probably get me some drag radials and 18" rims when I've saved up enough to replace my rear end. I don't trust them to not break something. I should have enough other stuff to learn to keep me busy long enough to divert cash from the kid stream. Lots of stuff to pay for by next May!

I am after zl1 satin rims.
I know the cooler is what I need. Just whining cause it got here at the end of summer instead of beginning of summer. I haven't spent shit on cosmetics, rims will be the only substantial cosmetic upgrade I ever get. Chiller should be in jersey by the end of the week, should finally have it in early next week. Hopefully before next weds (test n tune)

You're towing your car all the way to TX from NJ?

Haven't figured everything out yet. At first I thought about driving it, but that probably isn't very smart. The owner of the shop I use may come with me, if he doesn't he will let me use his trailer. I will get it all worked out. I will probably end up dragging some people from KHC with me.

Yeah I saw that. That's why I was thinking of bringing a couple buddies from the shop with me. Obviously a lot of planning has to be done, but where there is a will there is way.

Indy was as close as I think it will be for a while. Maybe in a couple years it'll be at Charlotte. But I doubt any closer than that.
