Nitrous outlet guys are a good option...read on ls1 tech...

Fuel pressure safety switch(FPSS) saved my engine 3 times FYI. Nitrous is really nice and safe when used correctly. Be sure to run colder plugs, pull enough timing, FPSS and a window switch as you do not want to spray below 3000rpm and especially hit the limiter while spraying! That would mean disaster; no fuel+nitrous=boom

A good heater is a must too to be sure you get the most out of your bottle. Ideal psi is around 950 IMO.

Good luck, take your time. A complete kit is around 1K $

Coyote owners are finding their blocks can handle 900 hp just fine....but the rods can't. Good luck and keep your chin up.
So much info about Coyote..FYI, any LS block/crank will handle 1000hp. Theres an article on a 5.3l twin turbo with stock internals that was pushed over 1000hp without problem. Ls3 are stout and can handle 700hp stock without a problem.

My setup was pretty cheap; base kit 400 $, heater/bracket 150 $, fpss 50 $, timing tuner 200 $, plugs and bingo it was all. Later I added a purge (for show) and a remote psi gauge...I did the install.

BAP or more may be needed depending on the shot size. Search the FI section, there are a lot of responses for people that are new to nitrous. We all were once and can always learn something.
I wasn't purposely trying to irk the "nitrous guys", even though I thought we were all just "car guys". I went with the dedicated fuel cell so I should be golden. I'll spray C16 with the nitrous and should have awesome results.

My first post I made the mistake of calling nitrous "NOS", which is a company of course. But you know even at that, outside of these forums most people refer to it as that taboo word. Hell, even at the NHRA events that I race at, if you have a nitrous kit in your car, they write on your window "NOS". Maybe I should bite their heads off and say "It's not NOS", write N2O or Nitrous on my window please.. Know what I mean? thanks for the feedback and the info.

dynoSteve, thanks for the info. I went with the Nitrous Outlet kit. I've already ordered some of the components and will be getting the rest of the kit this coming week. Brandon at NO has been great, prompt, and gave me a great deal. I'm all about customer service and he nailed it.

Also, in regards to the tune, I've ordered the NOS mini progressive controller to handle when the nitrous sprays, at what RPM it comes on, goes off, and at what percentage it ramps when it comes on. Very cool. I also opted for the LPE LNC2000 to pull timing for me so I won't have to worry about switching between tunes. Once it's dialed in, I simply arm the nitrous system and everything else follows suit. Turn it off and my car is just the way it was before the kit. So I think this will be a great setup. Having all of these nitrous goodies with a kit that can net me 200HP at the wheels for under $3K? It's a no brainer. I'm excited.

I looked at their stuff. Seemed a bit pricey for me and I just liked the way the Nitrous Outlet kit was put together. Plus, doesn't the Nitrous Express fuel cell mount where the battery normally goes? I don't want to relocate my battery.

I know the NX stuff is great and have read many threads about their company. Personal preference though, I went with Nitrous outlet.

I did a bunch of reading after this and this is the route I ended up going.

Spent well over $1K but I think I'm going to be very safe. Also, to incorporate all of this with a line lock, I found a very cool article about using your Cruise control "Cancel" button for the hold or lock switch. A simple circuit wired into your existing cruise control, makes it happen. Plus when it's off, your cruise still works as designed. I drew it up clean if anyone is interested. You an get all of the parts on Amazon and Radio Shack.

Very cool. I'm doing my install as well. It looks very straight forward. The line lock feature should be pretty stealth too!
