Probably the TPS sensor. That's why there are so many weights on the wheels.
They should add counter weights inside the wheel IMO*. |

I was finally able to pick my car up today.
Road force balancing seems to make a huge difference. No vibration at any speed...up to 100 mph on way home. |

Dealer has been great...Unfortunatley, the ABL on the driver's door is now having issues...only works some of the time.

I have a 2SS and have a vibration in the sterring wheel at 55 and 73. They road forced them but my left front still has 20 pounds of road force it is within spec of under 25 but still have vibration. They said there is nothing they can due for because it is within spec. They need to replace a tire but nobody wants to pay for it Very poor support on this from dealer. Taking it to local tire shop

N2008T, take it to a different dealer. There's no reason for you to be out-of-pocket for any reason, and there's no excuse for them not being able to fix it.

Took the the car to Discount tire and had the tires road forced by them with me in the shop the whole time. Tires were off by as much as 3oz from dealership last week. One tire is still pullling high road force and Pirelli is sending a new one that should be here in two days. The dealership service was nothing short of horrible. It only took 2 minutes to get the approval from Pirelli. Chevy dealer spent all morning saying there is nothing they can do for me. It cost 120.00 out of pocket to correct work done wrong by dealership.

I got my new tire from the tire shop today. It fixed the problem. So I am down 3 days of my time and 140.00 to fix what should have been done under warranty. The tire store did a great job. The dealer that I bought it from could care less

I had to have all 4 tires road forced at the dealer- was getting vibe in steering wheel too. They removed all weights and respun all 4 wheels. Problem is gone. My back right has over 5 ozs of weights however.
I called Pirelli, this is their first 20 inch performance tire, made just for the camaro. With all those weights on all the new Camaros I have seen- it looks like new product growing pains and some imperfect production of new tires. |
