I haven't been pulled over yet, but my car is a CGM ( I do have bumblebee rallies though).
Only police interaction was at a red light.

Cop: Nice Car
Me: Thanks
Cop: Is it fast?
Me: The magazines say it is...... (drive away cause light is green)

My buddy got a TICKET for doing 72 in a 70! Yes, a TICKET!

My father-in-law is a retired state trooper... he told that a lot of times they would pull some one over they thought was speeding... Then ask them how fast they were going and then just write the ticket for whatever they admitted too... There's a lesson there!

And of course there is the time the sheriff pulled me over in my Ford Escort and accused me of doing 70 in a 55.... I LAUGHED at him! I then explained that it was physically IMPOSSIBLE for my car to get up to 70MPH in such a short distance in from the stop sign! He let me go... LOL

I was told once by a CHP motorcycle cop and I quote
"You have a black camaro with loud exhaust and wide back tires. You have to be doing something wrong."
I laughed and asked if he was serious.
He asked me to get out of the car and asked if he could look in my car.
Irritated I said, "Knock yourself out DicK Tracy"

He took his helmet off and called for back up. I watch as they tore my car up "searching it" for 20 minutes. After they didn't find anything he give me a ticket for peace disturbance and tint to dark.

I went to court and the judge (a fellow Camaro owner) threw the ticket out.

Lesson learned:
1. Some CHP officers don't have a sense of humor
2. Better to keep your mouth shut sometimes
3. Some judges are cool.

I had a baby blue 85 Mustang LX with a 4 banger (auto) for my first car. GA trooper pulled me over for demonstration of speed. Said I barked the tires.

Now, this car did 0-60 in maybe 12-13 sec, much less bark on 1-2 or even from takeoff. I explained that him and said that I would let him drive it and if he could do what he says I did, I'd give him the title to the car. Warning lol

for staters, if you drive a BRIGHT colored car, no matter what kind of car it is, it will grab it eye of anyone that is watching. especially an officer whose job it is to keep the public safe. I have had a BRIGHT YELLOW CAR/TRUCK for 7 years, and I have never gotten a ticket driving either one (knock 0n wood), and YES, I drive faster than the speed limit WHEN its prudent and safe. BUT if you are acting the fool, showing off, or just not paying attention what is going on arround you, well as that say: "SH*T HAPPEBNS"

Yes, but....

Only stripes that got me pulled over was when (more than a few years ago) my buds mooned an unmarked car.

Cop (with a dry sense of humor) says "I pulled you jerks over not because you were stupid enough to moon a cop, but because I could see the skid marks on your undies. You morons need to learn how to wipe your asses!"

He walked away shaking his head.

We didn't know whether we should burst out laughing or what. So we waited until he pulled away, looked at each other and laughed so hard we cried.

Stripes, yup, got us pulled over....

My question for those of you who have stripes is, do you find that you are more of a cop magnet? I think that the Camaro, in IOM, is enough of an eyebrow raiser. BTW, I drive fast, but not excessively. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Seriously I've been pulled over twice for it. The bogus one in the mustang and then again in my 4.3L S-10. Now that wasn't so bogus as it would bark second very easily. I was guilty of that one. It actually said that on the ticket
