I'm not sure if they will fit or if anyone has ever tried to see if they would fit but I think the oil drain plug in my 2002 SS has a magnetic tip. I'm wondering if GM happen to use the same thread size on the LS3 that would allow the drain plugs from an LS1 to be used. Maybe someone with a little more knowledge on the subject could chime in and say whether or not this would work. Maybe I'll have to see if I can get an LS1 oil drain plug and see if it fits my LS3 oil pan when I do my first oil change.

Did my first oil change since installing the Dimple Magnetic Drain Plug. Came out pretty clean, which was good news, a few little small flakes other wise very very clean. Just glad I didn't see all kinds of crap stuck to the magnet!

That's awesome normagene, You cant go wrong with the dimple, I posted the vid to show people how much better the dimple plug works compared to the cheap plugs from autozone. The magnet catches everything. Glad to see you used the dimple Its worth the money, I see people buying those 5$ plugs that are cheap as hell . Only use the best for our zl1's.

Just ordered my (M12X1.75X21) plug too, hope I don't have any regrets. Now I need a car to install it into.

I have had the Dimple on mine since my first oil change at 1600 miles. When I next changed at 6100 miles I was truly impressed how much the Dimple caught. It was substanially more than a $5 mag plug I have in my truck. Switched all my vehicles to Dimple after that. Well worth the money when you consider the overall picture, versus going to a cheaper mag plug because you are trying to save a couple of bucks on protecting a 60K high performance car.
