Looks great! good work!
I think the H is much better. To each his own.

For me, I like H pipes on late models because of the old school exhaust note. I had a X pipe on my BB olds and loved it, but dont want to loose the sound I have with camaro and mellow out the tone. I have seen some dyno test online were some guys have done back to back test and actually made more power staying with the H. So that was another reason I just stuck with it, I dont think you can go wong with either though.

Nice.
Does it drum under the car much from being dumped?

Yeah, the H-pipe would make it sound more "aggressive" than with the X-pipe...there really isn't that much power gain with the X-pipe
Nice job on the custom exhaust, btw!

Ya the 3" sounds like the cam is hitting harder at idle now. I love it! Now I am concerned about my H placement being to close after what I read. That would be a total PIA to move it! I dont see how 5-6" being closer would effect it much though.

Haven't had a chance, I will take one when get home later and try and have it by tonight or in the morning. Just took it for a spin, car feels good and it 90 degrees out. Loving the more powerful sound!

Optimum placement for the cross over pipe can be figured by an equation a page long if you know all of the peramiters. An easy way to tell is to build the exhaust without it, paint a stripe down both pipes and make a few 1/4 mile pulls. The place were the paint is the most burned is the spot to put the cross over.
