He's full of it

GM will sell as many as they can. If the demand is there they will work 24-7 to push them out.

That absolutely makes no sense because GM is selling the Camaro in the Middle East and Europe. Tell your Dealer to retire immediately theres a limit of incompetent dealers an he´s above it

I'll buy three if they make a 350 rwh truck with 1/2 ton plus towing and then they are in the game
Out of your highly incoherent post, I'm understanding that you believe that the Camaro is the only car that GM can build.

In which case, I'd like to direct you towards the Malibu, CTS, GMT-900 trucks, Lambda crossovers, Theta crossovers, 2010 LaCrosse, 2011 Volt, 2011 Cruze, 2012 Regal...

Wink No way!

When I was looking to buy my Camaro, I found better results at the smaller dealerships. Do not trust anyone! Compile a list of dealerships in your area. (get this info off the internet) Then start calling and you will find one. If not leave your name, number, and what you want. Trust me the calls will start rolling in. Be prepared to give a deposit via a debit card over the phone. It worked for me and I now have my 2010 Camaro. I got just what I wanted and it just took a little effort on my part.

Good luck!

I think you really need to consider a couple of factors in order to stop guessing about the production numbers. I've read that current production capacity is 500 cars a day off the line. 500 x 260 days = 130,000. I agree with some posts here... if demand is high and GM can sell all of what it's possible to produce, they will build them and add production shifts to make it happen. Simple business mathematics. Consider the elongated model year and GM will sell 130k easily for the 2010 model year.

Is this based on a 52 week year?, If so you are off by 14 weeks this car is a 2010, And ends in July of next year.

I bought my 2 tons worth

i dont know about 40k, but i can see them cutting off orders before too long, so they can make room for the new model. realistically, i can see them cutting off at maybe 60-70k cars...but who knows..thats for them to decide.
