My kit is at ADM if you want to stop by and take a look. Should start install next week.

This thread needs a bump.

Anyone know the estimated loss of pressure between the compressor and the intake manifold given the design of the IC, tubing size, number of bends and size of bends etc? I assume it should be no more than 2 psi.

We've been working on a dual cold air intake kit that has no down sides. I just finished testing the current design and will be offering them as an upgrade in a couple weeks. It is very impressive, will post pics in a few days.

I drive my car like I stole it. I do drive in the rain. Reason I questioned it is if I drive through a pretty wet road with puddles and it sucks enough water to get in motor I bet I would be at my own risk and not you or AGP

Thanks.

To cause the engine to hydrolock...you would need to almost completely submerge the airfilter in water...Puddles of water are a few inches in depth..

So if the water level is that high (2 feet), yes, that is your own risk...and you should probably pack some oars for your boat.

Puddle, standing water, etc wouldn't be an issue unless the tires are 3/4 submerged and water is pouring into your doors, and everything else is under water. That is like not wanting to run headers or cats because they would be completely submerged. The power steering rack would be underwater, the crank pulley 1/2 under, etc. It would take someone driving their car into a lake or trying to cross a river to cause an issue.

Couple questions though. After much research and brain picking, I have figured for my goals (up to 1200rwhp, but 1000-1100 initially) that the PT6766 or similar sized turbo is what i need to not over task the turbos. No E85 available here but i do blend in Torch for intank octane of about 96 and my compression ratio static is about 9.4 to one with -23cc Wiseco coated pistons

So what BW unit is similar to the 6766 that has 66mm inducer 87mm exducer on the compressor side and 67mm exducer and 75.5mm inducer on the turbine. I was gonna go with .96A/R T4 turbine housings and 4 in inlet and 2.5 in discharge on the compressor.

Also, with my Mast black label 6 bolt heads, the OEM manifolds will not work so i need custom built manifolds or maybe 2" shorties. What are the options with the AGP kit? Love the attention to detail that seems evident with this kit.

I am hoping to get ADM to take this on.
Custom man.
For these high hp build you really don't want anything that's been made. You want something made especially for your car.
That's exactly what SNL is doing to my V with the win 6766s. Let them custom fab and you'll be good to go man. Not like it's rocket science and it's something that has to be "proven."

Andy at ADM did one not too long ago.

Very nice pics of the setup including the air filter locations. Not as bad as I thought.
But would love to see the optional intake kit when AGP releases it.
