I guess I should be glad I live where I do. I only pay $678 a year for a 2010 gt500. I expect the 2SS manual will be alittle less when It gets out of rehab. My wifes 2lt is $520 a year. Both of us have very good records.

Thumbs down My opinion/experience w/ State Farm Claims Service

I had the distinct honor of being jerked around by State Farm this year. Finally hired an attorney and canceled my Insurance for two cars and my home with State Farm. My agent apologized for the way my wife and I were treated by State Farm Claims personnel and we still have not received answers to numerous questions we have posed to State Farm.

My home was burglarized on 01/06/2009 and my car was stolen when they found the keys inside the residence. State Farm finally agreed to pay my claim on 05/28/2009 but the payment was not made until 07/01/2009. We are still considering filing a lawsuit in reference to their bad faith handling and delay in payment of our claim. I had a great rate but am paying a little more to USAA for insurance now. Customer Service and honest claims handling are worth the additional $.

FYI Buyer be ware.

Just turned 25 and I live in a rural town with a pop of 3-4k if that much. $0 deductible and $50k/$100k liability and I was quoted at $100 a month for the SS and $85 a month for the LT from State Farm.
There are many factors that each company utilize to quote rates. It's not only living close to big cities but actually gets down to zip codes (sometimes sub-codes) and the accident rate/payouts for that area for each individual carrier. Check around and definately get the proof of insurance from your fleet manager.

um, guys i have a question because i got confused and didnt want to question my parents. My parents said they pay $6000 a year to insure two cars (a 2005 mitsubishi galant and a 2008 Mazda CX7) with 3 drivers (55, 42, 19). They all have clean records, so is that average? We live in NYC and me and my dad are thinking of possibly getting a camaro next year (when i turn 17). I would be under the Mazda as insurance, but what can we expect as in a raise in price? Thanks, this subject always seems so broad to me.

Go with State Farm, definitely. Be careful if you get speeding tickets once signed up with them. They have great rates, but they'll drop you if you get numerous tickets.

Full coverage, $500 comp & collision, 100/300/100 for me is $321 for six months here in Wichita Kansas($53.50 month). A measly $3.67 more a month than the Infiniti Q45 I traded in.

Wow, some of those rates suck :( sorry. My quote was for full coverage from Allstate "$250 deductible was $289 " for 6 months, I will park mine in the winter and that is $41 for 6 months. So like $25 a month
