Nope. Went to the dealer this morning as instructed and was told that they had 2 brand new trucks that had really bad vibration problems that the TAC guy had to deal with. I have to call back periodically to see if their ready. Apparently, too, this guy is the only one who 'knows' the Camaros.

My times seem to be VERY slowly getting faster. Don't know if it will stay that way or not. Mine could possibly be the computer starting to 'learn' me. I've been running that engine like it wasn't mine. In other words really pounding on it hard. So we'll see.

Please keep in mind guys that my car was never as bad as Scotts. I did have a few 0-60s that went over 7 seconds but mostly was in the low 6 second range.

There was a short article in Super Chevy about running an SS down the strip. He also mentioned the lag at launch and a few other things discussed here.

That is still way to slow, 5.6 is too slow at sea level.

depending on the ambient temps and the surface you are driving on.

Since there are a lot of l99s running rich, maybe there are some faulty injectors. Anyone pressure test their injectors yet? I cant imagine that some cars would magically get a richer tune from the factory than others. However I can imagine GM getting huge batches of injectors that have a few leaking in the batch.

Well, one thing that NOBODY can tell me otherwise is that some of these L99s are DEFINATELY running rich.

Are they supposed to? But they are.

I dunno... a tune seems to change the world dramatically... and stick too, so to speak. Would faulty injectors respond so well? I think it's a tune/timing thing.... and I'm not sure it's significant enough for any dealership to acknowledge and address.

Yeah, a tune will help most, but this car had a huge spike in the run and ran way rich. Im just throwing things out there to check. I would think that a leaking injector or 2 would cause a car at low rpms to run rich but even out as rpms increase.

Maybe it's time to race the wife again.
Try it out if you think the car is preforming better.
I know, I know,if you lose again it would be horrific
