If you only want 800whp then some smaller S200sx 56mm would be perfect. Or some ballbearing turbos about the same size if cost isn't an issue. Ether should be capable of 800whp on pump gas with that motor. |

Only hassle with the Garrett based BB cores, they also require water.

Dual 7064's would be a hell of a ride. They cost more, but have TiAl exhuast wheels, and super-beefy center sections. Indy Car uses them. Dual 6758's in twins set-ups, or single 9180's.

Will extend the life. Less coking in the center section. Worth it.

Precision ball bearing turbos fit super easy and they have soo many great sizes to choose from.
We can also build some BW EFR turbo's into a kit. We were just test fitting a pair of 7670's yesterday. So many turbo options. |

Garrett seems to be the only company now requiring water on their BB units. Almost every other brand can do without |

Drive like a loon? Who wouldn't with turbos? Turbo timer is very important if you don't have a water cooled center section, and yes, long boost events (especially with a blanket) will hurt the oil. That's why I went with the water cooled, because I'm putting turbos on to drive the way I want. I'm not saying you have to have it though. Just like you don't need synthetic oil. It's recommended...

Never had one in my life, owned dozens of turbocharged cars and never had a heat related turbo failure yet And I wouldnt even consider not using a proper oil in a turbocharged car, other than when running in a new engine. But yes if you can make it work, having water is an extra level of help |

So does this kit only work with the stock manifold or will it work with shorty headers too? Any gains to be found?
