What if you get rear-ended?

Also:

* Hit the blinker without pushing the switch all the way (nudge it) and you get three blinks. I assume that's for lane changing.

Everything else I absolutely love, including the door lock on the center console.

Hit it again before the 3rd blink and it cancels the blinks altogether. I assume if you change your mind, maybe.

I thought this topic was specifically for Camaro specific things?

Pretty sure it's in the trunk for better weight distribution. But I think they also figured in a car like this, most accidents would be front end. Lol.

It's probably better protected in the trunk than under the hood anyway. They are usually right up front and against the tie bar when under the hood, and there's not a lot of space under the hood before things start getting crushed.

It's all about weight distribution. The other benefits are happy coincidences.
My C6 Corvette has the battery in the engine bay. So did my C5 Corvette. I've also had second and third generation Miatas, which had the batteries in the trunk.

My '13 2SS RS if you pull about 3 feet from a wall and when you turn it off an get out, the bow tie is displayed on the wall from the lights. Only reason I know this is because of the garage. I thought it was pretty neat.

there is a hidden compartment beside the rear seat, you have to pull the side of the seat inward and you will see it. Cool place to hide things if you need to.

Unique... just say that out of the Big 3 it's the most modern looking with a retro twist and is just plain gorgeous.
