Normal here too 2013 manual 1LE. One of my friend heard and ask what it was LOL. Said this aint a 100tq Honda engine so yes it might a bit more noise. But it doesnt sound like a 'defect' sound to me. Just heavy parts working together, not a grind noise type. I just hear it between 1st and 2nd too.

i know exactly what your talking about and I think it only makes that sound when u press the clutch rather quickly. Pretty sure its nothing to worry about, just the sound of the clutch disengaging. If you press the clutch in a slower, smoother manner it wont make that sound at all.

THIS! If you are letting of the gas at the EXACT same time you press the clutch you will "rattle" the drive line and hear the slack in the linkage. Not saying you should feather the clutch, but let the clutch slightly engage before fully letting off gas. Basically just a smoother transition.

Here's an example of when you may here it really pronounced:

You are in first gear and take off from a light
Someone pulls out in front of you unexpectedly
You panic and quickly let off gas, slam clutch, and hit brakes
CLUNK CLUNK

That is true but you can also hear it in the the following scenario:

- Push in clutch
- Start the car
- Release clutch (you will probably hear it here).
- Push in clutch and release again (You will almost definitely here it here)

That's it exactly! On the bright side you saved me a trip to the stealership, on the downside I'm stuck with the clunk.
