I want to make mine match my stripes. So if I do silver stripes silver bowtie.
I have a feeling I am going to love the color so much I won't want to paint stripes...

Anyway Dustin! Whats the word? did they total it? Are they fixing it? If so how long before you get it back?

Not sure, but the first set of polished I saw were not very... polished, they had swirl marks in them. The second set I saw were almost chrome! very bright!

I'm leaning more toward the silver also. I like the blue on the back, but it just doesn't look right on the front. And I like the black on the front, but doesn't look right on the back. Silver will match the stripes and looks good on both

I talked to the guy at the body shop on Wednesday, he said they've started working on it but they are still waiting for some parts. He also had to order a few more parts that he didn't account for, which they found out when they took the door off and took it apart I guess. He says it's too early to tell right now, but he would guess at least another couple weeks :(

BTW, I decided to go with the silver retro hockey stripes from Rider graphixs. Ordered them last night.

Ok, I called up the body shop and told them to do Silver Ice Metallic on my bowties. I think it'll be sweet

He also mentioned that they have gotten a lot of work done so far, but they are still waiting for the headliner and a couple other things (speaker and window regulator I think). But all of the body pieces are in and on, being painted. I think it should be done soon!

I'll be sure to post more pics when I get it back.

im F'ing losing my mind...you guys were right, this is the hardest part of the wait...i just dont understand wth is taking so long! its been in jersey for 4 days now! why hasnt my dealer got the car...un-F'ing-believable....im buggin out, i kno...

does anyone know roughly how long it would take me to get my car if i ordered it today? i read through every single page of this thread because i'm so in love with the abm! i HAVE to have it and i will be crushed if someone in my area has this color before i can get mine. i want it to take a little while so that i can save up a few thousand more dollars, but i don't want it to be next year either. i don't believe my dealer has any allocations right now, (but i don't really know what that means either). they have one order waiting to be picked up by gm so if i ordered today i would be second. can anyone give me some sort of idea on the time frame????

and sorry, i realize i don't have pictures on here but this IS the official abm thread so i figured since that's what i'm ordering i could probably ask this here!
