Depends on the car...1LEs do not sit (as most are ordered anyway) but TONS of normal Camaros sitting on our lots out here in Colorado. Plenty of 2012 still , it amazes me how they keep ordering more it seems too...

Wow, New 2012s??? Must be super deals on those, I'd think at least six K or more off the invoice price, the 14s have been hitting the lots for months.

Mine was ordered by the dealer and came in by truck on a Thursday night. They called me Friday to see if I wanted to look at it and I took it home when it came off the lift from PDI. So, about 12 hours.

We have one 12 and two 13's sitting on the lot. I went and asked about the 12 a few months ago right as the 14's started hitting lots. just tryin to see how much they would come down. they told me flat out they wouldnt come a penny off the sticker pricei laughed and told them good luck. They havent sold one 14 off the lot either.

There is a new 2013 Inferno Orange ZL1 convertible at the dealer by my work. It has been there since before snow fell last year. It sat out in the snow most of the winter and is now on the showroom floor. They were asking above sticker for it btw. Not sure if they came down on the price, but it is beautiful.

They sit there until sold

Might have been a showroom car at first, and it might have been an odd color/option combo that was good for showroom but not for the sales lot

Bought my car October of this year. 2010 2LT/RS with 350 miles on it. Apparently a guy comes into the shop quite often and buys cars for "tax purposes." He trades them in after a little while. The dealer said he knew the guy since he's been buying like that for years and he garage keeps most all of them. I just got lucky because it had a previous owner so it's certified used and like brand new.

I'm not complaining

i just bought a new 13 2LT vert. i bought it in October with 58 miles on it. when i looked at the car in July, i noticed it had build date of Sept. 2012. i asked the dealer and he said it happens sometimes, some vettes may sit for awhile. my car is all black with 19 inch wheels, but is a NON rs car, so maybe that had something to do with it. i could have maybe waited to buy this car to this month, as the dealer still has 2 other verts on lot, one yellow non rs, one red RS, and in showroom a yellow ZL1 vert too.

Mine had 3 miles and I was told by the dealer that it had only been on the lot 2 weeks before I bought it. They were more scarce back in 2009 when I bought mine though.

My 2013 had a build date on the c of o listed as 08/2012, bought it new from the originally shipped dealer last month. Sat over a year on their lot.

There was an 8/12 build next to my 2/13 build when I bought back in April.
Its still there.

I was kidding with the salesman when I took mine in for an oil change the last time.

Told him I'd trade mine in and buy that one when mine hit 36,000 miles and went out of bumper to bumper warranty. I'm at 15,000 miles now.
