Car shuts off when I high rev, or coming to a stop.

I installed a 2.9 whipple and have been having problem with my idle car keeps turning of after letting go of the gas. Last time I was going 120 on a fun acceleration and once I let off out of no where rpms dropped dead car shut off. Smh can't find the problem sprayed the car no boost leaks. Could it be TUNE?? I have a zl1 gas pump and BAP so idk what's wrong ggrrrhhhh anyone can help please?

upgrades kooks 1 7/8" LTH w/ deleted cats, corsa exhaust, hurst short throw shifter stage 3 comp cam, 3.91 gears ecs kit blower, meth injection, upgraded axles, drive shaft, McLeod rxt clutch, fully forged 416ci stroker all installed and dyno tuned by slowhawk performance in bridgewater ma.

It's def in the tune. Is it the Whipple tune? Or who's the tuner?

I'd check MAP sensor against tune make sure they are matched ie 2 bar or 3 bar & tune is set to coincide which ever you have, you would see this happening as i did until corrected.

I must say it does sound very coincidental to the Whipple install, however I had something similar happen to me several months back. My car would randomly die when pulling up to a stop, but it would start right back up. This went on for a couple of months and no one could figure out what was wrong. Finally, it died at a light and I almost didnt get it started. Changed the battery (it was original to my 2010) and have had no further problems. I know that sounds weird but it worked for me.

Good luck on finding the gremlin. Sometimes those sort of things can be most aggravating.

Battery was probably fine, but pulling the battery reset all the electronics, and when getting a tune I always disconnect and reconnect the battery afterwards. Did you get that battery tested? I'd bet it was fine.

Bump base idle airflow up until it stops doing that. Bumping the idle RPM a little for the extra load should help too, but who knows where it is at now.

Either way, it is a tuning issue.

I didn't read the whole thread BUT, for starters DISABLE deceleration fuel cutoff and tell us what happens.
