Turns out it was the exhaust after all. It came loose after hitting that puddle. And actually, it wasn't really even a puddle...it was deep enough that it almost stopped my car dead in its tracks from 45 mph. I got under there today and saw the driver's and passenger's side exhaust pipes were loose, the passenger side axle back came completely off, and the driver side axle back was loose as well. Tightened everything up and I'm once again the fastest 5th Gen Camaro on the planet...lol not quite. But thanks guys for all the help. You're all the best!!

Now, someone was talking about nitrous...

Man you dodged a Bullet there!!

I ran through a puddle yesterday and thought my motor was toast, but I ran through it on the passenger side, and remembered that my air scoop and intake is on the driver's side! Only difference is, I ran through the puddle at about 7 mph.

What cai are you gonna go with?

OK you bunch of mitches I have a question for the help desk! If anyone here is an expert on CV joints I have a leaking one on the driver's side. Looks like the grease is leaking from the edge of the boot where it's clamped. Is there any way to seal it or should I replace the axle? It lost about a tablespoon of grease. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=330423

Damn. I've been procrastinating, but after seeing this thread I need to put my car on a lift this weekend and find out what's rattling on my rear suspension. Started off as a loud squeaking on small bumps, then the squeaking stopped, and it turned into a loose metallic "Clank" sound whenever I hit bumps. Something is broken, just not sure yet lol.

On the upside, I ordred BMR Toe rods, Cradle bushings, steering rack bushing, and Upper control arm bushings all this week. When I get back to TN I will have a job ahead of me lol.
