If you have a V8 the hose clamps we supply are from 91-114 mm, as long as you get big enough to fit a 4" diameter you should be ok.

Oh, and BTW, that sound when the car gets going... Engine roars now!

Thanks for choosing CAI Inc.! Keep that CAI on all year, you would be missing out on many of its benefits by only running it part of the time.

Here it is installed. Looks like everyone else's. But it's all mine! Really seems to work well with the 3" catback. The sound is intoxicating! Amazing how well the stock system hides all that induction sound.

Your CAI lid is not installed correctly. It should be tucked under the metal fender piece. See other photos below your post.

I know I want the CAI ,and a race scoop . What I want to know is what is the best race scoop and washer relocate bottle set up . I have seen the Rotofab bottle relocate touted as the best and the ADM race scoop touted as the best . I want to end up with the best the first time and not have to do it over again . I wonder why CAI doesn't make a whole kit with the washer bottle relocate and scoop as a kit. Why is the Rotofab washer relocate kit better ? Why do some say the ADM race scoop is better then the APex ? What are the benefits one vs the other ? Anyone that can enlighten me on this, please do so I can do it right the first time. Note : I a'm not saying one race scoop or washer locate kit is better than another ,it is what I have read on posts here and at LS1.com . All I'm looking to do is trying to buy the best set up the first time . Any help by anyone is much appreciated . Vendors and manufacturers feel free to chime in .Modding this car is making me neurotic , I keep feeling like I'll get it wrong .

We only make CAI's, that's it, no other "accessories" or anything else. As far as the other companies "race scoops" and washer bottle relocation kits, all they are doing is moving the washer bottle and helping direct air into the inner fender well up to the CAI. We have never installed one, tested one, or owned one. That being said, I believe according to some testing I remember seeing they only add 2-3 hp at peak when used with our CAI, so performance wise they will probably all be about the same, maybe some install easier or are of higher quality, I do not know. I have had customers install all 3 brands you have mentioned and have heard positive remarks about all of them. Why do some like certain brands over others, same reason as why you will find people who love or hate CAI's from all of those brands, like Camaros' over Mustangs, Mobil One vs Amsoil, etc., etc.. Most people love what they have paid for and installed, I wouldn't get to wrapped up in that, just look at the quality and pricing/ ease of installation and make your decision based on that.

No matter what scoop you decide on, thank you for choosing Cold Air Inductions Inc. as your choice of Cold Air Intake, I am confident that you will be very happy with it regardless of which scoop you pair it with!
