Oh Oh! That's not good.

The Camaro just seems more retro to people for whatever reason...

Anyways...to wrap this up, I hope GM takes a similar approach with the 6th gen a they did the 5th. Keep the heritage intake, but make it ultra modern, and make it American. Mustang looks sleek and modern, but nothing feels bold about it, and it to me it has taken on outside influence.
Along the line of our conversation, check out these comments from
Jalopnik:
Quote: "On the surface at least, Ford has nailed the modern/retro combination. There's just enough throwback to old Mustangs to show it hasn't forgotten where it came from, and yet it looks new enough. It isn't menacing, but it looks grown up in a good way. It looks like it wants to be taken seriously."

There are lots more interesting automotive media comments on the new Mustang being collected here:

Ford was finally able to beat GM in the hideous rear end department. Congrats to Ford.

Some might say it is better to be a floating turd that won't go away, than to be feces you thought had been flushed once in its history only to have it reappear in the proverbial bowl several years later.

Yeah! What he said.

Actually I was thinking something like that when I saw the financial and other backgrounds and the first response that jumped into my head is something my 2 yr old grandson says whenever he breaks something.
'Oh No! That's not good.'

Wheels on the 14' Camaro suck. Front of the Mustang isnt right. Camaro is better overall.

Yeah we wouldn't want Government Motors to make decisions based on financials...

Well there will be NO vehicles if the bean counters don't keep them in the black. It takes a balance.

I think people should give the lady a chance before you write her off for her background.

You'd never guess Condolleeza Rice was a football FANATIC based on her background, but she is.

Ah the humor was lost when I went to turd.

I dont mind the 2015 Mustang all that much. The only thing I really dont like is the rear end. Engine sounds good, just a little miffed at them not keeping the side vent (not sure what to call that).

I can see how my comment was over the top. Oh well, lesson learned.

Oh Oh! That's not good.

I wonder if this means GM will make a RHD Camaro for export as a Holden to compete with the Mustang Supercar in Oz.
