Only been up to 120 in mine. There is a little bit of play in the hood with the latch when you close the hood. Once closed if you push down on the hood it will go down a little more. Perhaps with some rubber stopper modification in the engine bay you could make the hood close more firmly. Not that most of us drive 120+ all that often when this issue would start to become noticable...at least not on the street
though I know it happens from time to time

Yes, my hood insert up by the windshield shakes pretty hard at 160.
I have the Jac fab license plate holder. I need to make a run with it off and see if I have the same result. |

The bad shake starts at about 175-180 mph, what happens before that is nothing. When you cross that 180 mark it gets your attention. Seems to hold together fine despite the shaking.
